I was sharing typewith.me with my sister who is in her first year of college- I thought it would be a good tool for group projects and such.
She shared a paper she is writing and we used typewith.me to have a little writing conference. I was able to fix a few things which showed up in my writing color and give her a few ideas throughout her paper.
I thought it worked really well and wanted to share that with everyone.

ReplyDeleteMy sister-in-law is a recent graduate from a music education master's program and she would often send me her essays on Google Docs so that I could add comments and edit them in a different color font. It worked very well! Google docs doesn't provide the conversation piece that "type with me does" but it serves a similar function. I think that using "type with me" would have allowed me to explain my comments and edits more which is very valuable for struggling or new writers! Very cool!!
